Donna Wilson

Donna Marie Wilson (née Rausch), age 69, of Northlake, Illinois, passed away peacefully on February 9, 2026. She was born on May 15, 1956, in Chicago, Illinois.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Scott; her loving children, Samantha (Daniel) and Christopher; and her caring siblings, Bobby, Ronnie (Robin), Kenny (Beth), and sister-in-law Debbie. She will also be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews. Donna was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Robert and Diane Rausch.

Donna found joy in summer days spent by the pool, tending to her prized backyard, and surrounding herself with animals she adored. She loved The Wizard of Oz, the warmth of the holiday season, and the gentle smell of lilacs drifting through the yard each spring. The number of friends she let into her heart is innumerable. Her home overflowed with love, laughter, and life’s simple beauty.

Donna dedicated many years to School District 83 as a library clerk, where she was known for her humor and for brightening the lives of countless students and coworkers. 

The joy you left in the world will never be forgotten, and the laughter you gave us will continue on in your memory.

A celebration of Donna’s life will be held on February 21, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Northlake Funeral Home, 140 E. North Ave, Northlake, IL 60164.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wright-Way Rescue in Morton Grove, where the family’s dogs, Peanut, Pepper, and Zelda were adopted, in honor of Donna’s love for animals.
